Photoshop Practise Of Making Ancillary Products
As a way of showing our planning for the products of our ancillary work, we were provided with templates and told to create our own rough album cover as a way of adapting to the construction process.
We used Photoshop for the design elements and production of our fake album covers.
This gave us a clear insight of what we need to work on and how well we know about what goes into a digipak. It also taught us what to avoid doing during the editing process (not to get carried away with editing and include a lot of images- AND not to stretch the images as it looks amateurish).
I, personally, became more familiar with Photoshop and now feel more confident with using it to make my ancillary work as I was walked through how to include text and how to edit the size, font and colour of the text, how to rotate it,how to re-size an image without stretching it, etc.
