I am not really familiar with photoshop and I dont really know the skills and techniques like I do in say for example Final Cut Pro but this was the second mock up I've done. The first was just practice and being able to familiarise with the software. Just like this image I will try and focus on bringing a close up of my artist and place him in the same sort of layout. However, the cartoonish theme I have used may not be a likely possibility when it comes to doing my real album cover as I was just trying get to the feel of things. I was mainly focusing on all the effects and techniques that are able to choose from and I learnt a lot of things. Anyways, my layout will practically look like this. I will have the close up/medium shot of my artist with the similar sort of style font. I will maybe not go for this effect and try keep it simple and plain. I will have my album cover in black and white in order for the cover to look more serious and noticeable. The font may stay the same as it does have an indie feel to it, although I will still have to explore the different types of fonts in order to choose the right and suitable one.
