So far for post production we've been thinking of using slow-motion, black and white or desaturation, and maybe small flashes.

Slow motion: We wanted to use slow motion as it's a sad song which becomes slow during verses we thought this would reflect the lyrics and tempo of the song.

Black and White or desaturation: We differed on this technique unsure whether to go completely black and white in the video, desaturise the video slightly or do neither, we all think that whichever of these three choices we do decide to go with will go well with the alternative genre and the song video, but it's something we may have to decide later on or see which looks best.

Small Flashes may be used to bring attention to cuts in the video, this is cause during the story of the video we plan on showing flashbacks of the lost relationship, these flashes are meant to indicate it.

Here are two video from the same alternative genre which have slow motion and black and white effects, showing that it is not unusual for us to follow these conventions for this genre.
